About
the single
シングルについてParisukat is the first single of Al Jang. The lyrics is a play on the word parisukat (square). It's a moving on song.
Behind The Song
I really enjoy performing ‘Parisukat.’ I usually start with the question: ‘Anong mga bagay na may apat na sulok at apat na gilid ang mahalaga sa inyo?’ (What things with four corners and four sides are important to you?) Then, there are sing-along sections that really elevate the mood of the room.

Parisukat
パリスカットA play on the Filipino word for ‘square,’ Parisukat traces the four corners of a familiar room — calendars, doorways, boxes, notebooks, letters, photographs — and the quiet madness of moving on within them.
Producer — Billy Joey Villamor

Parisukat
Bangon sa kama,
bubuksan ang bintana
na parisukat
Kung di nakatulog
lulukutin lang ang kumot
na parisukat
Labas-pasok sa gusali
mga pintong sari-sari
parisukat, parihaba
Dasal ko kung maari
sa kwarto ko'y manatili
kahit sandali
mababaliw na sa parisukat
Parepareho
araw sa kalendaryo
parisukat
Parang karera
unahan sa pagkuha
ng mga apat ang kanto
Labas-pasok sa gusali
mga pintong sari-sari
parisukat, parihaba
Dasal ko kung maari
sa kwarto ko'y manatili
kahit sandali
mababaliw na sa parisukat
Mababaliw na sa
apat na sulok apat na gilid
ng lungkot at ng galit
apat na sulok apat na gilid
dapat bang merong hugis
ang laot at langit
Labas-pasok sa gusali
mga pintong sari-sari
parisukat, parihaba
Dasal ko kung maari
umiyak nang isang buong gabi
habang tinatabi
kahon at kwaderno
sulat at litratong
parisukat
